Standards

We have a set of standards to guide the implementation and continuous improvement of our compliance and integrity initiatives. These standards, which were approved by the Altria Group Board of Directors, also highlight best practices from the field of compliance and ethics.

We specifically developed these standards to be broad, far-reaching and flexible, anticipating future change and growth. They require our companies to regularly review their initiatives and to identify specific action steps that lead to continuous improvement and expansion of their Compliance & Integrity Programs.
